Individual Turkey Rolls

Recipe Ingredients
- 4 x 115g thin turkey escalopes
- salt
- freshly ground white pepper
- 4 tsp ready made American mustard
- 1 bunch fresh marjoram
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 leek
- 150g medium mature Gouda or Emmenthal cheese
Recipe Instructions
- Beat the turkey escalopes with the blunt side of a steak hammer or with a wooden rolling pin. Season with salt and pepper to taste and spread the mustard evenly over them.
- Pull the fresh marjoram leaves off teh stalks and chop them. Mix 1-2 teaspoons of the chopped fresh marjoram with the vegetable oil. Season with pepper to taste and set aside.
- Cut the leek lengthways into quarters, then crossways into 5cm pieces. Coarsely grate the cheese.
- Divide the leek, cheese and the remaining marjoram between the turkey escalopes. Roll up the escalopes and tie securely with trussing thread.
- Grill the turkey rolls on the barbecue for 25-30 minutes, turning and brushing frequently with the spicy oil. Remove the trussing thread before serving.
